 Warm Homes: Local Grant

  • Low carbon heating: up to £15,000 for air or ground source heat pumps, particularly for off grid homes using oil or coal.
  • Check your eligibility and apply via the GOV.UK Warm Homes: Local Grant scheme
  • Scheme starts April 2025. Date TBC.
  • Provides up to £5,000 for minor home repairs to meet decent home standards.
  • Eligible works include damp treatment, electrical rewiring and window replacements.
  • Applicants must have lived in the property for at least three years.

Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG)

  • Supports adaptations for disabled residents, such as installing ramps or accessible bathrooms.

Local Council Grants

Many borough councils in Lancashire have additional support schemes:
