Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS)
- Receive up to £7,500 towards the cost of installing a heat pump, or £5,000 for a biomass boiler.

Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS)
- Offers free or discounted insulation for homes with an EPC rating of D or below, and Council Tax bands A–D.

Warm Homes: Local Grant
- Provides free energy saving upgrades for low income, mains gas or off grid households.
- Energy performance upgrades: up to £15,000 for insulation, draughtproofing, double/triple glazing, solar PV and battery storage – aiming to reach EPC Band C.
- Low carbon heating: up to £15,000 for air or ground source heat pumps, particularly for off grid homes using oil or coal.

Energy Company Obligation (ECO4)
- Offers support for insulation and heating upgrades, including boiler and radiator replacements.
- Eligibility: households with income below £31,000, health conditions, or EPC ratings of D–G.

Disabled Facilities Grant
- Provides financial assistance up to £30,000 for essential adaptations to help residents live independently.
- Eligibility: homeowners or tenants requiring adaptations like stairlifts, level access showers, or ramps.

Bright Green Homes grant
- Covers insulation (loft, cavity wall), doors/windows, solar PV and air‑source heat pumps.
- Income must be £36,000 or less, EPC rating D–G, and home in Bristol, North Somerset or Bath & North East Somerset.
- Some deprived postcodes exempt income rule. Not for social housing.
- Apply via Bristol City Leap’s Bright Green Homes project.
Retrofit West assessment vouchers
- Vouchers up to 70 per cent off for a home retrofit assessment, helping you plan energy improvements.
- A first step before applying larger grants.
- Provided by Retrofit West for Bristol residents.
